Born in Rafah, southern Palestine, in 1990. I’m a writer and cultural activist, executive director of 28 magazine. I studied accounting at the University College of Applied and Vocational Sciences.
I have published a joint collection of poetry entitled ‘White Space’, and worked with many local and international institutions to enable artistic and creative practices within Palestine.
28 Magazine
28 is a literary and cultural magazine, published in Arabic, that addresses different levels of culture, and is managed and edited by a group of young Palestinian writers, from Gaza and abroad.
The number 28 refers to the number of letters in the Arabic language, and through this title the magazine aspires to form a cultural base that participates in the knowledge-building of young writers and creators, and sponsors their creative projects.
The platform also offers 28 opportunities for creators; Young artists and writers to present their creative products and interact with their Palestinian and Arab society, through the issues of the printed and/or electronic magazine, and a series of events that include literary evenings, panel discussions, art exhibitions, concerts and art, and film screenings, organized by the work team, in cooperation with community institutions Domestic and international civil.
