Ameen Nayfeh

Born in Palestine in 1988 and spent his formative years moving between Jordan and Palestine. Despite an early interest in filmmaking, in 2010 he earned his B.S. in Nursing from A-Quds University in Jerusalem. Two years later, he earned a degree from the Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Arts in Jordan with the goal of being able to tell authentic stories from his region. His debut feature film 200 Meters, starring Ali Suliman, about a Palestinian family separated by the Israeli wall, premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2020, winning him a total of 27 International awards.
