Omar Itani

Omar Itani is the general manager of FabricAID, a social enterprise working to establish a socially and environmentally conscious value chain for the apparel industry. Omar’s entrepreneurial journey started at high school when he created with friends a waste management student company. Itani is the winner of numerous competitions and awards including the Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC), Denis Pietton Award by the French Institute and Young Champion of the Earth by the United Nations. Itani has succeeded in growing FabricAID from an idea into a full-blown company with more than 120 employees and several millions in turn over within 4 years.
