Yara Mahajena

A Palestinian artist and a co-founder of “Shahinat Burtuqal” who earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees with honors from Haifa University, a community art degree from Beit Berl College and a degree in leadership, project management, and politics from Roger Williams University RI, USA. She worked as a public relations coordinator at the Givat Haviva Art Gallery and as a project coordinator at Bazelal Academy and Umm Al Fahm Art Gallery Excellence Center for Arts and Design. She taught foreign language through arts as a Fulbright adjunct lecturer at Mercy College, NY and politics in arts at Haifa University. And took part in exhibitions inland and abroad and won multiple awards for her achievements in arts and film.
