Suha Khuffash
Co-Founder
2024 Fellow – Nablus
Suha Khuffash’s passion for art and social change led her to co-found Art to Heart in 2018. With extensive experience in international cultural relations and the cultural sector in Palestine and the Middle East, she saw the potential of art to empower marginalized communities and disabled individuals and involve them in the arts as a human right. Art to Heart was created to foster creativity and promote disability inclusion, giving disabled artists and vulnerable groups a platform to express themselves and build self-confidence. Through this non-profit, Suha aims to raise awareness about disability issues in Palestine and advocate for the economic and social empowerment of people with disabilities.
Art to Heart
Established in 2018, Art to Heart is a Palestinian non-profit organization that aims to transform PwD lives and promote social change through engagement in the arts. The organization is guided by a strong belief in art as a powerful and effective means through which to enhance the lives of deaf, disabled, and neuro-diverse individuals by encouraging self-expression, challenging stereotypes, and advocating for the rights of those at greatest risk of social isolation. We strongly believe in the power of art in changing the world, affecting all aspects of life, and helping extinguish old stereotypes of disabilities
