Aziza serves as the Vice President of Development for Health Leads, a U.S. based innovation hub that unearths and addresses the deep societal roots of racial inequity that impact health. She began her career with Charity Navigator, gaining unparalleled experience in the evaluation of the nation’s largest international relief and education organizations such as The International Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders. Since then, she has worked with philanthropic leaders to advance the impact of equity-related causes, first leading the statewide fundraising efforts of Teach For America’s New Jersey region, and then later as head of sales for EdTech company BetterLesson, leading teams to raise nearly $90M and launching signature experiential, marketing, and online events. More recently, Aziza served as a Management and Talent Strategy Consultant and Executive Headhunter for cross-sector clients in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Aziza proudly sits on the boards of BuildPalestine, a crowdfunding social enterprise platform as well as Giving Well International, which makes capital healthcare investments aimed at strengthening health systems in the Middle East. She received her Masters degree in Social Work & Management of Human Services from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, and lives in the greater Boston area.
