Zad al-Ghad (Provisions for Tomorrow)

Zad al-Ghad is a school in Gaza City accredited by the Ministry of Education, founded in response to the genocide’s devastating effect interruption of education. The school uses a curriculum designed to recover two years of lost education for primary school-aged children. Zad al-Ghad was founded by Amani Abed, a software engineer and startup founder who secured financing from Google and the World Bank for an EdTech platform for university students in Saudi Arabia. Amani pivoted her startup and its resources into founding Zad al-Ghad to rebuild Gaza’s future through education.
