These are difficult tasks for a maker to manage alone, especially when restrictions on trade and declining tourism have narrowed the ways many Palestinian businesses can reach customers.

Lore Local is building a wider market for work already being made across Palestine. Najla has seen what that can mean for a merchant in Jerusalem’s Old City, whose sales increased after years of falling tourist numbers.
