We’re overwhelmed with all the messages of solidarity and support we’ve been receiving from friends all over the world. Several of you reached out to ask how you can support Palestine during this time, so we’ve compiled a list of organizations and campaigns you can donate to. We’ve also compiled a list of volunteering opportunities in Palestine, which we continue to update.

For now, please continue to share what’s happening in Sheikh Jarrah*, in Gaza, in ‘48, and in Palestine as a whole. The last couple of months have only proved that that our voices do can transpire change, and that among all the disheartening news we’ve been experiencing and sharing, there is hope for the freedom of our land and people.

*Important note on Sheikh Jarrah: residents of Sheikh Jarrah (Sheikh Jarrah Units) have explicitly stated that they are not asking for any sort of financial aid or donations at the moment. They call upon supporters and allies to instead be physically present at Sheikh Jarrah, to share the current expulsions and ethnic cleansing in the Jerusalem neighborhood, and to call Israel out on its actions.

Here is a list of urgent relief campaigns and organizations you can donate to support Gaza:

The Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA)

MECA works to protect the rights and improve the lives of children in the Middle East through aid, empowerment, and education. The MECA team is currently distributing food parcels in all areas of Gaza, and visiting the schools with displaced families to see what is needed while also supporting medical aid to their NGO partners.

Reclaiming Funding

🗓️ October 7th and 8th

Join us at the fourth-annual BuildPalestine Summit to “Reclaim funding” and ask questions around the role of money in building the Palestine we all want to see.
How has financing been wielded as a tool to colonize civil society, and what lessons can we learn from other countries in the Global Majority? What traditional indigenous practices for community support might be renewed and reconstituted toward building a sustainable funding mechanism for Palestine?
This year’s BuildPalestine Summit will be a virtual and in-person event, combining engaging virtual discussions with interactive in-person gatherings in Ramallah and Washington D.C.

We will continue to update this page with resources as we learn of them. If you know of any trusted campaigns and/or organizations please reach out and let us know.
