Bank of Palestine Group and BuildPalestine sign a Strategic Partnership agreement. BuildPalestine is elated about its strategic partnership with Bank of Palestine Group, whereby the bank will match every donation made to BuildPalestine up to USD 10,000. Matching donations is a partnership model that encourages individual donors to contribute to not-for-profit organizations to help sustain their operations and activities in fulfilling their development missions.
The strategic partnership with Bank of Palestine is beyond the financial support; the two parties agreed on several areas of collaboration including encouraging Palestinian organizations, especially youth segments, to use Bank of Palestine’s payment gateways to receive individual donations. The partnership will also explore ways to cooperate on women’s financial inclusion through the flagship Felestineya program. BuildPalestine will additionally strive to collaborate with Bank of Palestine’s innovation hub “Intersect” to work together on empowering social enterprises and entrepreneurship in Palestine.
This partnership has manifested at the end of BuildPalestine’s two-day annual summit last October, which welcomed over 1200 participants from 61 countries. In 2020, Hashim Shawa, Chairman of Bank of Palestine, joined the BuildPalestine Summit as keynote speaker and was inspired by BuildPalestine’s efforts to bring the global Palestinian community together. This year, under his concordance, the partnership was signed. We are certain that this sustainable form of partnership is the best way to move forward with both organizations’ efforts.

Our contribution financially will help enable BuildPalestine to work with this community. وقعت مجموعة بنك فلسطين ومؤسسة بيلد باليستاين اتفاقية شراكة استراتيجية تهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون بين البنك والمؤسسة في عدة مجالات، حيث يقدم بنك فلسطين بموجب الاتفاقية تبرعاً مالياً متطابقاً مقابل كل تبرع يقدمه الأفراد المتبرعون للـمؤسسة بمبلغ إجمالي يصل إلى 10,000 دولار، وذلك للمساهمة في تمكين وتنمية المشاريع الصغيرة والناشئة لمواصلة أنشطتها.
وتعزّز الاتفاقية التعاون في جوانب عديدة تشمل تشجيع المؤسسات الفلسطينية غير الربحية والشركات الناشئة، بما فيها فئة الشباب، على استخدام بوابة الدفع الإلكترونية الخاصة ببنك فلسطين لاستقبال التبرعات من خلالها. كما تتيح الاتفاقية بحث سبل التعاون بشأن الشمول المالي للمرأة، وذلك من خلال برنامج فلسطينية الذي أطلقه بنك فلسطين للمساهمة في تمكين صاحبات الأعمال والمشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة. وفي إطار هذه الاتفاقية، تسعى مؤسسة بيلد باليستاين إلى العمل بالشراكة مع حاضنة “إنترسكت” الذراع الريادي لبنك فلسطين، من أجل تمكين المؤسسات المجتمعية ومشاريع ريادة الأعمال في فلسطين.
وتعتبر التبرعات المتطابقة نموذج شراكة يشجع الأفراد على التبرع للمؤسسات غير الربحية والشركات الناشئة، بهدف تمكينها من الاستمرارية ومواصلة عملياتها وأنشطتها والالتزام بدورها التنموي في المجتمع.
وأعربت السيدة هبة طنطش، رئيسة دائرة الاستدامة المصرفية في بنك فلسطين، عن سعادتها بإطلاق هذه الشراكة مع مؤسسة بيلد باليستاين. وأضافت: “بالنيابة عن مجموعة بنك فلسطين، نتطلع إلى شراكتنا مع بيلد باليستاين، نظرًا لأنشطة المؤسسة مع مجتمع رواد الأعمال وصناع التغيير، ونحن في البنك ملتزمون بالمساعدة في تشجيع الشباب على الانطلاق في ريادة الأعمال المجتمعية والاستثمار المؤثر، ونأمل أن تساعد مساهمتنا المالية في تمكين بيلد باليستاين لتطوير المجتمع المحلي”. وأكدت طنطش أن البنك يسعى عبر هذه الشراكة، بالإضافة إلى الدعم المالي، إلى استكشاف المزيد من فرص التعاون في البرامج النسوية وحاضنة الريادة والإبداع التابعة للبنك.
من جانبها عبرت السيدة لما عمرو المديرة التنفيذية للمؤسسة، عن سعادتها بتوقيع الاتفاقية مع بنك فلسطين، قائلة: “نحن في بيلد باليستاين، نشجع الطرق المبتكرة لتمويل المؤسسات الفلسطينية غير الربحية والشركات الناشئة”، مضيفة أن الاعتماد على التبرع الجماعي وسيلة مستحدثة لتمكين المؤسسة، كما أن وجود شريك من القطاع الخاص هو أمر إيجابي يعزز من مكانة المؤسسة، ونحن نتطلع بكل اهتمام إلى هذه الشراكة”.
